What’s new

Everything that has changed in okdone, newest first.

1.0.3

New

  • Catalan, throughout the app, the website and the admin.
  • A bar at the bottom of the phone apps: your lists, today, a new task, search and your account, all within a thumb.
  • Filtering is one dialog now, and you can filter by section.
  • The home screen widget comes in a large size, and tapping a task opens that task.
  • Sign in with Apple on the web, alongside Google.
  • Every switch in Settings shows a small picture of what it changes.
  • A changelog, in your own language, linked from Settings.

Improved

  • Settings on a phone are a menu you walk into, and fill the screen.
  • Sections are cards, and a section header can be tapped anywhere to fold it.
  • Controls across the phone apps are the size of a thumb rather than a cursor.

Fixed

  • Typing /code did nothing on a phone, and put the cursor above the block on a desktop.
  • Opening an attachment in the phone app said you were not signed in.
  • The view button could disappear behind a menu that had been left open underneath a dialog.
  • Every task sat under a pair of small arcs where its divider met the rounded corners.
  • Messages from the server — a wrong password, a taken username — were in English whatever language you read in.

1.0.2

New

  • Type /code in a description to add a code block, in any of twelve languages.
  • Drag a section onto another list and its tasks go with it.
  • Today and Calendar have their own settings, including a name and an icon.
  • Give your account a picture, cropped to the part you want.
  • An About tab, with the version and every platform okdone runs on.
  • See where you are signed in, and sign out of one device at a time.
  • Moving a list, a section or a task can be undone.

Improved

  • Tags sit beside a task’s name, and the due date ends the row.
  • A list’s sections, defaults and sharing each open a dialog of their own.
  • Dropping something shows a line, and the rows part to make room for it.
  • The password fields are behind a button, with a way through if you have forgotten it.
  • Your profile saves as you go — no Save button to remember.

Fixed

  • The app could quietly open an older copy of itself after a bad connection. It now offers to fetch the current one.
  • Face ID could ask again and again after unlocking on iPhone.
  • A band between every two tasks did nothing when clicked.
  • Renaming a list showed an ellipsis instead of the field on a narrow window.

1.0.1

New

  • okdone for Windows.
  • Reminders arrive whether or not the app is open.

Improved

  • Sign-up on the Mac app no longer showed an empty box where the captcha belonged.

Fixed

  • Email from okdone was failing to arrive. It now sends through a relay.

1.0.0

New

  • okdone for Mac, notarised and installable from okdone.app.
  • Lists, sections, a board and a calendar.
  • Your own email address, so anything in your inbox becomes a task.
